This is the second in our "Spotlight On" series where we provide our members with information on the winners of the TABA scholarships that your membership dues fund

Matthew Struble '13

Mr. Struble, a second-generation Aggie, graduated Summa Cum Laude with a double major in Economics and Political Science, along with a Business minor this May.  He completed a research thesis with the Department of Economics, earning the distinction of Undergraduate Research Scholar.  While at Texas A&M, Mr. Struble served as president of the Beta Upsilon Chi (Brothers Under Christ) fraternity, a student senator, and a member of the Chancellor's Student Advisory Council.  He will be attending law school at the University of Pennsylvania this fall.

"I am humbled and honored to receive this scholarship from the Texas Aggie Bar Association," said Mr. Struble.  "It is truly a blessing to have Aggies who have gone before me take an interest in helping me pursue my legal education, and I would like to thank each of you for your generous gift.  I was glad to be able to attend this year's conference and to meet so many kind and impressive Aggie lawyers.  This is an incredible group of former students that I am excited to be a part of going forward."

We congratulate Mr. Struble and are certain that he will have a long and illustrious career as an Aggie lawyer as he continues to be guided by the Core Values of Texas A&M UniversityLoyalty, Integrity, Excellence, Leadership, Selfless Service, and Respect.

No scholarships would be possible without our members.  The TABA Scholarship Committee endeavors to ensure that each TABA scholarship is awarded to an Aggie that we will we all be proud to welcome into the profession some day.
