On March 5, 2011, at the Clayton W. Williams, Jr. Alumni Center in College Station, Texas, the Texas Aggie Bar Association held its 2011 Annual Conference. The Conference included a morning of CLE presentations by well known experts on a variety of topics designed to provide every practioner with the background he or she needs to recognize a client's legal problems and help the client obtain appropriate legal services. Presenters included Thomas C. Fitzhugh, III ('71), Francisco Maldonado ('99), Amanda Doslich ('02), Kelly Garrett Thorman ('94), and Kelly Jones ('83). In addition, Kirk McKinnon from the International Justice Mission spoke on how lawyers can use their knowledge overseas to help create and enforce human rights in developing countries.

The TABA Annual Conference included its annual awards dinner where it awarded its 2011 TABA Aggie Lawyer of the year to Bob Surovik as well as several scholarships to A&M students entering law school.

The Saturday events were preceded by a Friday night social dinner at the Corner Bar in College Station.
