Dan Bitting, Board Member

Dan Bitting, ’85 graduated from Texas A&M University Summa Cum Laude in 1985 with a B.A. in English.  He graduated from the University of Texas School of Law with High Honors in 1988.  After law school he joined the Austin, Texas litigation firm of Scott Douglass & McConnico, LLP and became a partner in 1992. 

Dan practices civil litigation, with particular emphasis on trust, estate and fiduciary duty litigation, oil and gas litigation, professional malpractice defense, intellectual property litigation and general commercial litigation.  He has tried cases and handled appeals in both state and federal courts. 

Dan’s daughter Madeline is A&M Class of 2018.  (His son Jake went to another school with maroon and white colors–Colgate.)
