Kohl Anderson, Board Member

Kohl Anderson ’17 was born in Knoxville, Tennessee, but moved to College Station, Texas when he was just ten years old.  Growing up in College Station, Kohl fell in love with the A&M culture and decided to stay there for college.  At Texas A&M, Kohl studied industrial and systems engineering while competing on the varsity track & field team where he became a 3x letterman.  Kohl also served as president of the Nu Alpha chapter of his fraternity, Kappa Alpha Psi, and was a student worker for the Texas A&M University System Board of Regents Office. 

Kohl graduated from Texas A&M in December of 2017 and enrolled at The University of Texas School of Law the following Fall.  At Texas Law, Kohl was involved in the Texas Law Review, Thurgood Marshall Legal Society, and the Society Program. Most importantly, Kohl served as the president of the Texas Law Aggie Society.  Kohl became a member of the Texas Aggie Bar Association Boars of Directors as a student representative in 2019 and rolled over to a full-time board member when he graduated in May 2021.  He is clerking for Judge Alfred H. Bennett on the United States District Court for the Southern District of Texas in Houston until September 2023.
