    Texas A&M Law Review Presents:

    Schedule

The Texas A&M Law Review is pleased to announce our fall 2015 symposium entitled:  Farm to Table:  Agriculture Law in the Era of Sustainability.  As Aggies are well aware, Texas A&M is committed to finding solutions to feed our world, protect our environment, improve our health, and grow the economy.  The Law Review and the Texas A&M School of Law are committed to this mission and the exploration of law and agriculture through this Symposium.

The symposium will facilitate scholarly discussion regarding the current legal framework for agriculture and address specific questions such as whether that framework is equipped to handle emerging sustainability issues related to water, infrastructure, crop development, and livestock.  Our goal is to host a symposium that will result in proposals which ensure the current legal framework conforms with emerging sustainability trends in the broad area of agriculture law.  We are pleased that Dr. Mark Hussey of Texas A&M University and Professor James Chen of Michigan State University will be joining us as keynote speakers.  The symposium will feature panels focusing on critical legal issues facing farm and ranch land sustainability, the future of crop and food sustainability, and sustainable animal agriculture.
